.....and the now customary (remember Leeds? ) Nelsonic drama has begun already with a last minute change of hotels due to the Queens hotel being closed after the flooding in York, which has made national news

However my Batrachian, guitar slinging friend and I are finally on route - 7.40am bus to Aberdeen - 9.52am train to York, no changes......let's see what disasters can befall us now
