Everything always eventually arrives at Disneyland South. :)

Maybe El Burrito Express had to await for a particularly slow migration of cangrejos azules to cross the road. 8)

Saludar a las ranas amarillas en las montañas para mí.

I certainly will say hello for you, if any of them show themselves.

Just got a flash memory of those waves of cangrejos azules crossing the road ! it's quite a site. Where I went to high school in Coco Solo (birth place of Senator MacCain) the road ran through a very large mangrove. Early morning we would have to squirt around them to avoid going over them.

Must've made quite a sound, too. 8)

Remember further from Coco SOlo you go through for a few miles through very serious mangrove out to Galeta Island which is a Smithsonian outpost and used to be in a US NAvy base, sitting on the beach when one of those blue waves flowed out of the brush and we had to run out of the way...crabs are kind of gross in the real world...

From US Navy to Smithsonian? Interesting hand-off!

shit. Just sent a post and it vanished...

In actual fact, the Smithsonian station was within the Navy base. The Smithsonians outlived the Navy and are still there. The base was in reality more of a spy station, with a lot of radars and dishes. The Smithsonian place is really cool. There are a lot of aquariums and a very cool elevated wooden path through the mangrove forest. All off limits unless you call first, and if you do, a student of oceanography or other sciences will take you around.

Its an island now since port terminals have been ravashing the mangroves all around it.

Maybe the word you meant was "ravaging?"
