As well as the wonderful and generous 70th birthday gift from loyal fans of an Eastwood/ Backlund Super 100 guitar, I'm also awaiting another new instrument arriving, this time from the Musicvox company in America. It's a red 'Space Cadet' model, similar in shape to a Telercaster but with a slightly elongated lower horn and a cool paint job.
My goodness, what these two guitars will inspire boggles the imagination! I've been informed that it has just been dispatched to the UK and it looks like both guitars will arrive with me around a similar time. Guitar heaven! As a result, seems I can't really give up the live performances just yet...just have to flaunt these cool babies in public! :)

Cool stuff Bill, but hopefully the elongated lower horn will raise a little once you've had a chance to play with it!

Looks like quite a spiffy guitar. The red paint job does appeal to me. They did a good job with it! 8) 8)

Like yourself, I am also awaiting delivery of an Eastwood/ Backlund Super 100 guitar. 8) 8) Can't wait! :D

Best, 'Pod

Having spent an obscene amount of money building my guitar collection over the last year I have a self-imposed ban on buying any more... unless something REALLY special turns up.
So this rather tempting Italia bass will have to go to another loving home:

The Musicvox guitar gets ever closer to its destination...possibly arriving with me sometime next week. Anticipation mounts! :D

Some guy has made a guitar out of coloured pencils:

Looks nice, but it always depresses me when people build their own guitars and make them as Strat or Les Paul copies instead of coming up with their own designs.

Like a tribute band?

(tongue in cheek, for heaven's sake!)
