Plenty of "unofficial" recordings of this tour out there, rather noisy Mclaughlin to these ears prefer the Shakti and acoustic stuff. Willing to give it a go as the artwork is so 70's 8) 8)

Not really my thing, but I know there are several Kate Bush fans on this site:

"Kate Bush will release remastered versions of all her studio albums, along with selected rarities, on CD and vinyl, in a series of box sets next month.

Four vinyl box sets • Two CD box sets • Remasters • Four discs of rarities

In total there will be four vinyl box sets and two CD boxes. Initially, two vinyl boxes and the first of the two CD boxeswill be released on 16 November. These cover the albums The Kick Inside (1978), Lionheart (1978), Never For Ever (1980), The Dreaming (1982), Hounds of Love (1985), The Sensual World (1989) and The Red Shoes (1993).

Then, on 30 November, two further vinyl boxes and the second of the two CD boxes will be released. These complete the studio albums – Aerial (2005), Director’s Cut (2011), 50 Words For Snow (2011) – and bring together rarities including 12-inch mixes, B-sides and covers. In total, there are 18 vinyl records across the four vinyl box sets and 18 CDs across the two CD boxes."

Read the full announcement on the Super Deluxe Edition website.

Love Kate Bush, but I never got into "The Red Shoes" for some reason.

I should likely put it on again, as it's been years since I gave it a spin.

It's my least favourite album of hers. A few decent tracks, but suffers for the star cameo appearances. The Clapton track is even more tedious than Clapton's own later material, if that were possible. Prince totally ruins what was an interesting song idea (the original demo is on YouTube). Lenny Henry can sing but doesn't suit the material etc. etc. All very disjointed. And KB herself described the film that accompanied it as 'bollocks' apparently.

Tempted as I am by these reissues, I've got it all in several formats. If I collected vinyl, I would probably shell out the close to £400 for all that lovely packaging, but I don't.

Complex, warped psychedelia. Challenging, but rewarding if you have the patience and/or vision.
